Selanne’s goal gets Ducks by sinking Avs (AP)

Anaheim Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller, front, of Switzerland, looks on as defenseman Chris Pronger, center, deflects a shot off the stick of Colorado Avalanche's Wojtek Wolski, of Poland, top, to save a goal as time winds down in the third period of the Ducks' 4-3 victory in an NHL hockey game in Denver on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009.

The Anaheim Ducks are counting on Teemu Selanne’s return to rejuvenate them. Selanne celebrated a personal milestone — he became the Ducks’ career leader in games played Saturday — by scoring the winning goal in Anaheim’s 4-3 win over the struggling Colorado Avalanche. “I think it’s very important,” Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller said.
